Gina is from Holy Cross, Alaska, an Athabaskan village located on the Yukon river, where she is an enrolled tribal citizen. She works as an indigenous rights advocate and political organizer in Alaska. Gina is the Founder and Chair of the Alaska Entheogenic Awareness Council and directs Arctic Visions, Alaska’s annual psychedelic conference. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines.

Carissa is driven by her passion for improving healthcare access in Alaska. Her professional background includes work in strategic planning, business development, mergers and acquisitions, clinical leadership, and cultivating relationships with healthcare providers in pursuit of community solutions that ensure Alaskans can receive high-quality care close to home.

Jerrad was born in Juneau, Alaska and raised in Soldotna, Alaska. He is a Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholder. Jerrad joined the US Navy right out of high school and was fortunate to travel the world. Upon his honorable discharge, he was able to obtain a Masters degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, where he put his new skills to work in the non-profit sector and helping others. His driving motivation is one of helping others and creating great spaces where people are welcome to be themselves. He is a serial entrepreneur whose stress is considered by IAEA to be a renewable resource. He is married, with 2 children, and the world's bestest buddy.

David is a member of the Knik Tribe of Alaska and of Dena’ina and Unangax̂ heritage. As a dedicated advocate for Indigenous rights, environmental justice, and holistic healing, David works to bridge Indigenous knowledge systems with modern approaches to address today’s challenges.

As a member of the Campaign Steering Committee for Natural Medicine Alaska, David is committed to advancing policies that promote the responsible decriminalization and regulated access to entheogenic plant medicines. He believes that traditional healing practices and natural medicine can play a critical role in addressing Alaska’s mental health crisis, including the impacts of intergenerational trauma in Indigenous communities.

Eric Jansen is a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran who served two deployments to Sangin, Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines. After returning home, he faced PTSD, depression, TBI, and the invisible wounds of war. Following the suicide of one of his closest friends and fellow veteran, Eric found himself on a similar path and believes he would have
become another veteran suicide statistic had he relied solely on conventional treatment protocols. Discovering natural and innovative healing approaches gave him back his life.

Today, Eric serves as Government Affairs Coordinator for the Balanced Veterans Network (BVN) and a board member of Students for Sensible Drug Policy, advocating for veterans' access to life-saving treatment options and healing-centered policies.

Josiah is Alaska born and raised, where his personal journey with psychedelic medicines has been deeply transformative, helping him navigate neurodivergence, chronic pain, and PTSD. With experience working in the state legislature and on two bipartisan statewide campaigns, including a ballot initiative, Josiah has developed a strong background in policy and advocacy. He has also worked in social work, supporting Alaska’s homeless population, where he witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of the state’s mental health crisis—consistently ranked among the worst in the nation. These experiences have fueled his dedication to advancing innovative, compassionate solutions that promote healing and well-being for all Alaskans.
